ORDER Requiring Rule 7.1 Disclosures. Defendants' Notice of Removal states that Defendants have removed this case to federal court based on diversity jurisdiction. ECF No. 1 at 2. Fed. R. Civ. P. 7.1(a)(2) now requires all parties in diversity cases to file a disclosure statement naming and identifying the citizenship of every individual or entity whose citizenship is attributed to that party or intervenor as of "when the action is filed in or removed to federal court...." Accordingly, the Court directs each party to file a Rule 7.1 disclosure on or before May 16, 2025. Each Rule 7.1 disclosure must provide sufficient facts from which the Court can ascertain the citizenship of each party. See Siloam Springs Hotel, L.L.C. v. Century Sur. Co. , 781 F.3d 1233, 1234 (10th Cir. 2015) (discussing the requirements for pleading a limited liability company's citizenship as opposed to the citizenship of a corporation and also noting that domicile, and not residence, determines an individual's citizenship); see also Gwilt v. Harvard Square Ret. & Assisted Living , 537 F. Supp. 3d 1231, 1246-47 (D. Colo. 2021) (discussing the requirements for pleading a trust's citizenship). Stating that an entity is a citizen of a particular state without setting forth facts supporting the conclusion is insufficient to establish citizenship. Signed by Magistrate Judge Rachel E.
